Stamp/stencil on the leaf spring....

I think this is a dealer replacement 10 spring and it appears to have the letters NBZ over the numbers 20402. I also got the drive shaft marked.

Got the spring out....

Spare tire carrier and exhaust had to come out first then the spring.

Both trailing arms are finished....

I broke the spring to differential bolts loose tonight....I was worried they may snap or break off the ears. Got work to do around the house this weekend so I doubt I get anything else done on the Vette.

Getting more done on the drivers side trailing arm...

Got just about all the parts painted ans got the bearing carrier, brake caliper and shield on tonight.

I wonder if this could be rebuilt or has it been messed with too much already.  Most of the screws look good.

Got a good start on the other side....

Finding the right sawzall blade was key to getting the drivers side trailing arm off....Spindle threads were shot....This side cost me more than the other....I got about $500 is this "While I'm at it...." so far.

What a difference 7 days makes....Last weekend it was 15 deg and this weekend it was 75 deg....That's Georgia for Ya.
