Rear wheel wells and trailing arm pockets....

I took the rear wheels off today and cleaned up a little....This trailing arm pockets look pretty good and solid.

Got some brackets painted....

Only minor surface rust to deal with....t of rust converter and then gloss black paint.

Working on the rear end...

The "While I'm at it..." syndrome got the best of me and I'm now gonna clean up and paint the frame and metal brackets behind the rear wheels....I'm not sure yet if I'm gonna tackle the pumpkin and half shafts yet or not...?  The rear bumpers are real good on the outside but they are showing surface rust on the inside so I decided to take them off and coat the inside, that will also make painting the brackets and frame much easier....No tank sticker that I can feel or see so I'm not dropping the tank either. Here are some reference pics before the bumpers and brackets came off.

Front grill brackets....

I finally got a good deal on the front grill brackets that the car was missing....$20 including shipping. I painted them yesterday and put them on today.

Fixin' the spare tire carrier....

Working on the wrecked kart bodies has came in handy on the Vette....The spare tire carrier was just about toast but I decided to try and save it anyway.

This is what it looked like when I first dropped it....

It was filthy and took a while to clean up....

This is after I finished painting it.....

I got the metal hanger painted....

Got it all painted and put back together.....
