Got the exhaust finished....
I ended up having to swap sides with the tips....I'm not sure if that is how Allen's builds this system for a '72 or I just didn't know what I was doing....? The drivers side fit pretty well with the right tip on but the passenger side didn't fit well at all....It was as if I need both tips to be for the drivers side....I messed with it trying everything I could and just ended up swapping them.
I modified the stock rear hangers by drilling out the rivet on bottom and shorting up the mount. That worked pretty well but I may do some more adjustments, however they fit the overall quality of the rest of the car.
I added extra brackets where the middle section fits the last section, got them at Advance Auto for $3.99 may be the best deal there.....I bent them and installed with the spare tire rear hanger bolt.
This system sounds really good....Not too loud, no problem carrying on a conversation going down the road. I'm happy with it.
