Snow...............

Well not only has it been a very cold winter now we have 2 or 3 inches of snow.

Another brick in the wall....

And it's finally done....Put the last cap stone on today.....Now I need to lay the granite pavers and put the shelves back up and it will be finished. It was a lot of work but I think it turned out nice.

Now I have to get it cleaned up and the cap stone laid....Cool part about the granite capI'm going to use is it came from the Stone Mountain quarry over 100 years ago.  It was left over pavers from a project we did in Atlanta a few years ago.  I ended up having to take the benches down, the cap stones are gonna be heavy and it would be too hard to get them set right with the benches still in place.

Yaupon 4 month update pics.....

I collected these Yaupon Holly around 4 months ago....They are not as pretty and green as they were when I collected them....I would guess between the cold temps and low light in the garage when it's below freezing that has something to do with it. I hope they all pull thru....The 2 I drastically cut back have put on new growth and they have only seen frost once. I thought they would be OK over night but nope...It was a heavy frost and it killed some of the small tiny leaves....That was about 3 weeks ago. Here are the pics.....One from each side and then a few close up of the foliage from each of the 4.
